2007 was another great year for us: We celebrated our 5 year anniversary with a one-off “Hot August Night” show. Highlights of the year: An all-girl battle royale, the first performance of supergroup THE UNGAWAS, Lux LaCroix joined our ranks, Julie Newmar came out and said hello to a very excited crowd, but perhaps most important for Lucha VaVOOM was the birth of the Mini-Chicken; the lucky crowd at the Mayan on a Tuesday night in June witnessed the hatching of Lucha VaVOOM’s most beloved character.
Cassandro went rudo but thankfully regained his goodness and has been our trusty Queen of the Ring ever since.
